Ghost Story Progress

I'm working on a Visual Novel for art called "Ghost Story." I'll be using the Novelty engine. C:
I figured that I would move my task list here. It's a lot easier to drop a project that nobody knows about than to drop a project that others are aware of (for me, at least). For some of these there will be minimums or no quantity defined at all because the amount of time I have left before the end of the marking period (this is my project for art for this quarter of the school year 
) will also decide how much I do. If I really get into it, I might end up just doing a short version this marking period and do an extended version. I just also want to note that my task list isn't anywhere near complete. I keep adding stuff as I think of it. The novel is, at the moment, made for a female demographic. However, I may remake the game into a male version as well someday.

Also, if any of you have experience in creating audio/effects, shoot me a note if you're interested in helping. I have next to no experience with this, so otherwise I'm stuck with compiling free audio resources (not a bad thing, but it's limiting). I'd be happy to do some art or something in return. And you would receive recognition in the credits, of course.
Lastly, if any of you are interested in making a VN but have little to no coding experience (like me), then I highly recommend Novelty. I'm really still learning, but I'd be happy to help anyone with getting started if I can.
Updates:
Mar. 13 2013 : This update includes work since initial journal. Finished opening screen bg and a button base. Finished sketch and started lineart for Kirsti. Finished setting up all of Rosalin's states in novelty. Finished a cave bg and two basic variations of it. Almost finished Rosalin's bedroom for prologue (lineart, flats, and base shading are done; however, painting over in PS is only about 3/4 of the way done). May have to decide on a simpler style for bg's. Definitely 100% will not make it for the end of marking period thanks to higher priority obligations (working on a logo/flyer for a local thing called Wishes for Weston).
